General Anxiety
Your anxiety runs you, and you're braced for something you can't always name. This is the anxiety beneath the anxiety, the baseline the whole library connects to.
It's the background hum that never fully quiets. You're braced, scanning, a half-step ahead of a threat that doesn't announce itself. The calming tricks everyone swears by don't touch it, because they're aimed at the surface and the thing running you is underneath. Sometimes it attaches to a worry, and sometimes the dread just arrives with nothing to pin it to, which is almost worse, because there's no problem to solve, only the bracing itself. You've started to think this is just who you are.
It isn't who you are. It's a system doing a job, and the job can be understood, which is the first thing that has ever actually loosened it.
What’s actually happening
Anxiety isn't a malfunction. It's a signal, an alarm your nervous system learned to fire to keep you safe, still firing now at things that aren't the original danger. The reason general anxiety resists the usual tools is that those tools treat the feeling while leaving the alarm untouched, so it just fires again. When the dread has no object, that's the same alarm running with no target attached, which is why reasoning with it never works; there's no argument to win. The work here is to meet the mechanism directly: to understand what the alarm is responding to, to stop feeding it, and to let the system learn, slowly, that it can stand down. Every other kit in this library is a specific shape of this one baseline.
The Signal Kit
This is the guided intervention for the baseline mechanism under all your worry. It shows you what the alarm is actually responding to and how to work with the system instead of fighting it. Includes a private audio walkthrough recorded by Lisa. A paperback workbook companion is available, $39.97 in print.
The Unnamed Kit
This kit is made for dread with no object, the fear you can't pin to anything. It meets the bracing itself, so an alarm with no target loses its grip.
The Downloadable Care Guide
This is a practical visual companion that reinforces the work and keeps the practices within reach in everyday life. It's an instant download from craftyourwellness.com.
How the work is built
Start with The Signal Kit. It's the root the rest of the library grows from, so almost everyone in this collection begins or ends here. Not sure? The free assessment will point you. Take the free assessment →
